The Times reports that Home Secretary Suella Braverman has accused the Met of “playing favourites” and taking a softer approach to protests by left-wing groups than those by right-wing ones. Writing for the paper, Ms Braverman says that “right-wing and nationalist protesters who engage in aggression are rightly met with a stern response yet pro-Palestinian mobs displaying almost identical behaviour are largely ignored, even when clearly breaking the law”.
