According to The Times, civil servants recommended that the government exclude the Israeli PM from a major AI summit due to take place at Bletchley Park later this week over Israel’s invasion of Gaza and fears that Benjamin Netanyahu’s appearance would overshadow the tech gathering. The paper says that the foreign and science and technology secretaries were “angered” by the suggestion and rejected it.
