Schools are under no legal obligation to allow trans pupils to do things like wear the uniform or use the changing rooms of their preferred gender, Attorney General Suella Braverman has told The Times. Speaking in an interview, Ms Braverman said that, since under-18s cannot legally change their sex, a child who says they are trans is still legally the same sex, and that “schools have the right to treat them as such under the law”.
