The Guardian leads on an exclusive investigating the money the Royal Family has made from private estates. The newspaper reports that King Charles and the late Queen made £1.2bn in income from “vast land and property portfolios”, growing sixteen fold over the late Queen’s reign. It suggests that the findings have reignited a “centuries-old debate” that the earnings should be redistributed to the public instead.
