Away from the death sentence for the two Britons, the Guardian leads on low-paid care workers struggling to afford petrol to get to work. Public services union Unison tells the paper low-paid health and care workers are calling in sick because they cannot afford fuel prices and warns there could be a strike “if there’s no alternative”.
