A variety of stories lead Sunday’s papers. The Observer reports that Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer is to call for a ban on the rise in the energy price cap set to be introduced this autumn. The paper says the rise would be “crippling” if it goes ahead and that a ban would save the average household £2,000 a year on their gas and energy bills.
