A variety of stories lead Sunday’s papers. The Observer reports that a number of senior Tories have warned that Prime Minister Boris Johnson has brought about an “identity crisis” in the Conservative Party as a result of Partygate and U-turns over tax policy. Former party leader Iain Duncan Smith is among those who have spoken to the paper, saying recent tax rises have undermined a “core message” that has helped the Conservatives win recent general elections.
